OPERATIONAL SUSTAINABILITY
Our Data Center projects are built with sustainability at every stage from design and procurement to construction and operations. We integrate green building principles, energy efficiency, and circular economy practices to reduce impact, enhance performance, and meet our ESG goals.
From 2025, all our new Data Centers will achieve a LEED Gold certification. This ensures every project meets the highest sustainability standards, regardless of client requirements.
Life Cycle Assessment &
Environmental Product Declaration
We completed a full Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of our prefabricated NordicEPOD to measure its environmental impact. The LCA followed ISO 14044:2006 and is independently verified to ensure accuracy and credibility.
An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) was developed in line with ISO 14025:2010, EN 21930, and EN 15804:2012+A2:2019, carried out by Asplan Viak, assessed embodied carbon across the product’s life cycle, focusing on material extraction, manufacturing, and transport (A1–A3). Verification by an accredited third party, will confirm compliance with global standards.
Industry Collaboration
CTS Group are delighted to be a Visionary member of the iMasons Climate Accord (iCA).
This global coalition of digital infrastructure companies are working together to cut carbon emissions from data center power, materials, and equipment. It develops open standards, reporting frameworks, and practical tools to help members measure and reduce carbon.
Progress is driven through international Working Groups, each focused on specific, time-bound goals set by the iCA Governing Body.
